  A Global Business Services (GBS) organization located in Buenos Aires is accepting applications for the position of Java Developer - Hybris - SAP Commerce Cloud.

  Successful candidates will join the IT Organization, which is part of a multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees delivering business services and solutions globally.

  This role is responsible for delivering solutions in B2B and B2C customer portals utilizing SAP Hybris Commerce Cloud technologies. The Software Engineer will deliver innovative and complete solutions, driving them through design, planning, development, deployment, and support to simplify business processes and workflows and drive business value.

  Responsibilities

  Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Use computer science engineering principles and software languages to design and develop complex software solutions, specifically using SAP Hybris and Java.

  • Actively participate in an Agile DevOps team and perform coding, automated testing, documentation (wikis, READMEs, and code comments), and configuration changes to build, run, and maintain solutions using modern patterns, technology standards, and best practices.

  • Demonstrate interest in and ability to learn new technologies and techniques.

  • Modernize applications through re-platforming, re-architecting, re-engineering, and automation.

  • Troubleshoot incidents to identify root causes and solutions; resolve problems; design and implement configuration changes; and monitor performance.

  • Monitor interfaces/data loads, administer security, and provide feedback and solutions on application performance.

  • Identify areas for improvement by understanding technical and business requirements, partnering with platform teams and business stakeholders to address tactical and strategic issues.

  Required Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with SAP Hybris products and functionalities for B2B and B2C (versions 1811, 1905, 1911, 2005, 2105 and/or Hybris Cloud CCV2).

  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining e-commerce/web platforms.

  • SAP Certified Development Professional: SAP Commerce Cloud preferred.

  • Strong technical skills in Java, JavaScript, Spring, JSP, HTML5, Angular, React, CSS, SQL/Oracle Database, SOLR Query, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft Cloud.

  • Knowledge of security/access control, scalability, high availability, concurrency, online diagnosis, deployment, upgrade/migration, internationalization, production support, and other SaaS enterprise software topics.

  • Understanding of customer service center business processes and technologies (preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with persistence in addressing complex issues.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to communicate with business stakeholders to understand, gather, and document requirements.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-starter mindset, adaptable to new technologies, able to multitask, and work independently.

  • Strong architectural understanding with the ability to design and develop new architectures and frameworks.

  • Disciplined, methodical, and minimalist approach to designing and constructing layered software components that can be embedded within larger frameworks or applications.

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
