Strategic Staffing Solutions International's customer is an international company providing financial and legal services to Fortune 500 clients across the glove.
As their Virtualization and Storage team is growing, they are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator within the Infrastructure Support group. In this role, you will be part of an experienced technical team responsible for maintaining and managing enterprise-level virtualization and storage infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and managing virtualization and storage platforms, ensuring hardware and software are up to date.
- Automating manual tasks to improve efficiency and reduce risk of human error.
- Integrating new storage devices, projects, and technologies.
- Defining and implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) strategies.
- Preparing usage reports, monitoring growth trends, and conducting capacity planning.
- Monitoring Service Desk queues, managing incidents, and escalating issues to vendors when necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with quality guidelines, escalation policies, and procedures.
- Providing 8x5 operational support and participating in the weekend on-call schedule for emergency situations.
- Troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting system errors and performance issues.
- Performing root cause analysis for critical errors and outages.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with storage and virtualization infrastructure solutions in enterprise environments.
- 3–5 years’ experience with VMware ESXi and vSAN.
- 1–3 years’ experience with SAN & NAS technologies (NetApp, Oracle ZFS, Dell PowerStore).
- 1–3 years’ experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) – Nutanix, SimpliVity, or VxRail.
- Experience with automation tools/technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure and IT Operations.
- A self-motivated, analytical, and innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and work under pressure independently or as part of a team.
