Job Description

Account Manager – Buenos Aires, Argentina
Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3)

Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3) is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Account Manager to help grow our business in Buenos Aires and across Argentina.

We are looking for someone with a strong sales and business development mindset who knows how to build relationships, understand customer needs, and create new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a sense of commitment, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
This role is different from many traditional Account Manager positions. The individual will not simply inherit an established portfolio of customers. A key expectation is the ability to identify prospective customers, open new relationships, win new business, and then develop those customers into long-term strategic accounts for S3.
The successful candidate should be equally comfortable hunting for new business and developing relationships once the business is won.

About S3
Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3) is a global staffing and solutions organization with more than 35 years of experience supporting enterprise customers. S3 operates internationally and serves customers across industries including energy, financial services, insurance, healthcare, technology, and other major enterprise sectors.
S3 has established operations in Buenos Aires and continues to invest in Argentina as an important market for local customer growth and global delivery.
About the Role

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing S3's customer presence in Argentina by identifying target companies, establishing relationships with key decision-makers, uncovering business opportunities, and converting those opportunities into long-term S3 customers.

New Customer Development
• Proactively identify and pursue new prospective customers in Buenos Aires and across Argentina.
• Develop a targeted pipeline of companies and decision-makers that align with S3's capabilities.
• Use strategic client development practices, market analysis, networking, referrals, industry events, and direct outreach to uncover revenue opportunities.
• Build organizational maps within targeted accounts and identify executives, hiring managers, procurement leaders, technology leaders, HR leaders, and other key decision-makers.
• Initiate new partnerships with targeted accounts where S3 may have little or no existing relationship.
• Secure opportunities to present S3's value proposition to senior executive and management-level contacts.
• Develop prospective customer relationships through meetings, office visits, presentations, networking, and negotiations.
• Increase the number of qualified customer and hiring contacts within S3's network and systems.
• Maintain consistent business-development activity and follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
• Convert prospective relationships into active customers and revenue-producing accounts.

Account Development & Relationship Management
Winning the customer is only the beginning. Once a relationship is established, the Account Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding the account.
Responsibilities include:
• Build strong relationships to understand each customer's business, technology, workforce, and organizational needs.
• Serve as a primary S3 relationship point for customers.
• Develop relationships across multiple levels and departments within each customer organization.
• Maximize existing relationships by identifying additional hiring managers, business units, projects, and opportunities.
• Work with customers to define requirements and ensure S3 is positioned to successfully meet their needs.
• Continually analyze customer organizations to uncover new revenue opportunities.
• Develop relationships based on trust, responsiveness, honesty, and integrity.
• Maintain regular customer communication and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Build relationships that can grow from an initial opportunity into broader strategic partnerships.

Internal Partnership & Execution
The Account Manager will work closely with S3's recruiting, delivery, operations, and leadership teams to ensure customers receive the full value of S3's capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
• Partner closely with recruiting teams to communicate customer requirements and priorities.
• Work with internal teams to ensure S3's capabilities and lines of business are effectively represented to customers.
• Provide recruiters with market intelligence, organizational information, and insight into customer hiring needs.
• Identify potential recruitment leads and workforce opportunities within customer organizations.
• Coordinate customer meetings, candidate activity, presentations, interviews, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and current customer, opportunity, and contact information in accordance with S3 standards.
• Support proposals, pricing discussions, agreements, and other commercial activities.

We are looking for someone who enjoys finding opportunities, meeting new people, opening doors, developing executive relationships, and building business from the ground up.
The individual must then have the account-management skills to turn those initial wins into lasting customer partnerships.
The ability to both hunt and develop is essential to success in this role.

What We're Looking For
• Demonstrated B2B sales, business development, or account management experience.
• Proven ability to develop new customers rather than exclusively manage an inherited book of business.
• Strong client hunting and prospecting skills.
• Track record of building lasting customer relationships.
• Ability to develop relationships with senior executives, managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to understand a customer's organization and identify opportunities across different departments and business units.
• Strong work ethic and sense of commitment.
• History of meeting or exceeding individual goals while working effectively within a team environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and performance-oriented environment.
• Strong closing skills combined with a consultative relationship-building approach.
• Knowledge of the Buenos Aires and broader Argentine business environment is highly valuable.
• Experience in staffing, technology services, consulting, professional services, or workforce solutions is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

How Success Will Be Measured
Success in this role will be based on both new customer acquisition and long-term account development, including:
• New prospective customers identified and engaged
• Qualified decision-maker relationships established
• New customer meetings and opportunities generated
• New customers acquired
• Expansion of relationships across customer organizations
• Number and quality of hiring-manager and executive relationships
• Growth of newly developed accounts
• Contribution to S3's overall presence in the Argentina market

The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a market, not simply manage a territory that has already been built.
The Buenos Aires Account Manager will have the backing, resources, recruiting capabilities, and experience of an established global organization while having the opportunity to create new customer relationships and directly contribute to S3's continued expansion in Argentina.
