Product Owner – Commercial Banking Document Management

Location: Charlotte
Pay: $65-$70

Job Summary

 

The Product Owner will work closely with Commercial Banking leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, and the Corporate & Investment Banking COO organization to define requirements, coordinate implementation activities, and drive successful platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and onboarding of the new document/content management platform.
  • Serve as the primary Product Owner for Commercial Banking platform requirements and initiatives.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Develop and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and implementation activities.
  • Coordinate across business, technology, and project teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Support Agile ceremonies, backlog management, testing, implementation, and user adoption.
  • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with the broader Product Owner team to ensure consistency across document management platforms.
  • Support reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications using Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Identify opportunities to improve document management processes and overall user experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–4+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Project Management, or related roles.
  • Financial services/financial industry experience.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and strong team-player mindset.
