QA Analyst- SailPoint Identity & Access Management
Detroit, MI (Hybrid/Onsite Tues-Thurs)
W2 contract role
12 months with extension
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with deep expertise in SailPoint Identity & Access Management (IAM) to support enterprise identity governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual testing experience, the ability to develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases, and proven experience validating SailPoint implementations and IAM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the QA subject matter expert (SME) for SailPoint Identity & Access Management solutions.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed, executable test scenarios that include positive, negative, boundary, and exception testing.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing for SailPoint and related IAM applications.
- Validate identity lifecycle processes including provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, certifications, access requests, and approvals.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Monitor defect trends and communicate testing results, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
- Utilize HP Quality Center (HPQC/ALM) to create, execute, manage, and report on test cases and defects.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are fully testable and accurately validated.
- Work with developers and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and verify defect resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level experience with SailPoint Identity & Access Management (required).
- Minimum of 4 years of Information Technology experience with a strong emphasis on Quality Assurance and software testing.
- Experience testing SailPoint IdentityIQ, Identity Security Cloud, or comparable Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms.
- Hands-on experience using HP Quality Center (HPQC/ALM) for test management and defect tracking.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts, including:
- User provisioning
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Access certifications
- Identity lifecycle management
- Authentication and authorization
- Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- Experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Proven experience performing functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile and Waterfall project environments.
