JOB DESCRIPTION

Executive Assistant, Floater Executive Office
About the Executive Office

The Executive Office sits at the heart of Goldman Sachs, helping to shape and advance the firm's corporate strategy while preserving our distinctive culture. We safeguard the firm's relationships with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, and we keep our people informed about the firm's evolving priorities. We also partner with our businesses to source high-impact opportunities aligned with the firm's corporate engagement and sustainability strategy.

This is a rare opportunity to work alongside some of the firm's most senior leaders and their teams in a dynamic, high-visibility floater capacity. If you thrive on variety, take pride in flawless execution, and enjoy being the person everyone counts on, this role offers an unmatched window into how a global firm operates at the very top. You'll build relationships across the organization, sharpen your judgment in a fast-moving environment, and become an indispensable partner to the leadership team.

This is an in-office role, Monday through Friday. While hours can range from as early as 8:00 a.m. to as late as 7:00 p.m. depending on each principal's needs, a full 8-to-7 day is rare most days average around eight working hours. Specific schedules are shared well in advance.

What You'll Do
  • Calendar Management: Partner with each principal's assistant(s) to manage and optimize complex, dynamic calendars. Strategically prioritize engagements, coordinate seamlessly across multiple time zones, anticipate conflicts, and resolve scheduling challenges before they arise.
  • Travel Coordination: Plan and execute intricate international and domestic travel flights, accommodations, visas, ground transportation, and security protocols. Stay one step ahead of disruptions and adapt itineraries with ease.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Serve as a polished, discreet point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing confidential communications and prioritizing inquiries with sound judgment.
  • Expense Management: Process and track expenses and reconcile credit card statements in line with firm policy.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 3+ years supporting executives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Background in financial services, consulting, or a related industry is a plus.
  • Organization: A natural ability to juggle competing priorities, anticipate needs, and stay accurate under pressure.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal skills, paired with diplomacy, tact, and discretion.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive, resourceful mindset you spot challenges early and take initiative to improve how things run.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Zoom; experience with Concur or similar is a plus.
  • Discretion: Unquestionable integrity and an absolute commitment to confidentiality.

Education: Bachelors Degree
