Category Manager

Denver, CO or Houston, TX (Denver is preferred)

4 months with probable extension or contract to hire– one week in office/one week remote

W2 Rate - $60-62/hr - NO 1099 NO CTC NO THIRD PARTY

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as a well-rounded supply chain, procurement, or category management experience, preferably within the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Understanding of procurement processes, contract administration, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience analyzing spend data, evaluating commercial alternatives, and interpreting contract terms and conditions.
• Experience with OpenInvoice and the Enverus suite is preferred – similar tools are acceptable
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with AI tools, automation technologies, and digital procurement solutions.  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
