Senior/Lead ServiceNow Developer

Location:  Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Duration:  12 Month Contract

Overview:

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with over 6 years of hands-on platform development experience to design, develop, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Agile methodologies, hold ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications, and bring prior or current full-stack Java development experience to support integrations and custom solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
• Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
• Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
• Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
• Collaborate and influence all levels iof professionals including managers
• Lead team to achieve objectives
• Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5 + years of ServiceNow Software Engineering experience (new development and support)
• 1+ year of working with globally dispersed team

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Agile delivery experience
• Corporate real estate technology delivery experience
• Ability to foster a collaborative environment by actively participating in requirements and design discussions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a scrum team to design, implement, and support IT solutions to business needs
• Ability to translate business needs to technical solutions
• Ability to perform data analysis and design
• Ability to design data interfaces
