Job Title: Mainframe Software Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 18 Months

Pay Rate: $55 - $65 (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:

• This role supports the core technology team that handles money movement applications for currency flow that moves through the client's products and services.
• This position will assist with updating, maintaining, creating new features, maintaining locations, and performing cleanups.
• This position will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• This position will review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• This position will contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• This position will collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

• Working expertise in Cobol
• Working expertise in Job Control Language (JCL)
• Working expertise in DB2 databases
• Working expertise in CA7 scheduler
• Working expertise in Network Data Mover (NDM)
• Working expertise in IBM Mainframe Utilities
• Working expertise in Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM)
• Working expertise in System Display and Search Facility (SDSF)
• Working expertise in Custom Information Control System (CICS)
• Working expertise in IBM SPUFI
• Working expertise in RACF Security
• Working knowledge on the use of AI tooling and technologies in the software development lifecycle a plus
• Agile Scrum experience a plus
• Experience with CoPilot or other AI tooling a plus
