SAP Business Analyst
Detroit, MI (Hybrid; in office Tu/Wed/Thu)
W2 contract role
12 Months then eligible for Contract renewal
Job/Role Description:
- Performs the role of a Business Analyst who is responsible for gathering business requirements for enhancements to the SAP ECC and SRM applications, as well as other applications in the Corporate Services IT portfolio
- Facilitates meetings with the business and IT teams to gather requirements and drive solutions from design to deployment
- Participates on major projects and initiatives as a Business Analyst and team member
- Support existing and new custom interfaces between SAP, Maximo, and other 3rd party systems
- Oversees and understands the functionality and features of SRM, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, and Accounts Payable modules
- Coordinates and helps problem solve/trouble shoot issues with SRM, Materials Management, Warehouse Management, and Accounts Payable modules
- Creates process maps in Visio and documents processes, Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Job Aids within the Corporate Applications and Performance and Assurance Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of Source to Pay and procurement concepts
- Knowledge and understanding of the Source to Pay SAP applications (e.g., SAP SRM, Maximo and Ariba)
- Proven ability to work with business partners to identify, document and articulate business requirements
- Ability to manage their own work and facilitate requirements gathering meetings
- Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives under tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate positive working relationships among development team and business partners
- Ability to work within a team and if needed independently at a very fast paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with Test Leads and Developers
