Systems Analyst (.NET/SQL Server)
C#.NET Testing will be completed for qualification.
Location: Lutz, FL (Hybrid, must be local to Lutz, FL)
Duration: 9 Months
Pay Rate: $60-$68/hr
Overview
We are seeking a Systems Analyst with strong .NET development experience to support critical Energy Supply applications within the Information Technology organization. This role will participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, and production support while working closely with senior technical team members.
The selected candidate will help maintain and enhance several internal applications built using ASP.NET Blazor and .NET technologies, ensuring reliability and performance for operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise applications
- Maintain and enhance custom .NET and ASP.NET Blazor applications
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API
- Write and optimize T-SQL queries and support SQL Server databases
- Perform technical and functional unit testing
- Create and review pull requests, ensuring quality gates are met (documentation, builds, code coverage, security checks, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Kanban development environment
- Support internal and vendor-supported applications as needed
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with C# (.NET v8, .NET Core, .NET Standard)
- 10+ years experience working with SQL Server and T-SQL
- 2+ years experience with ASP.NET Blazor
- 5+ years experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience developing RESTful web services using ASP.NET Web API
- Experience using Git for version control
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates
- Experience with UML or system design documentation
- Experience performing unit testing
- Strong knowledge of Visual Studio development environments
- Authorized to work in the United States

- Experience in the utilities or energy industry
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
