Data Management Consultant

Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $45/hr

Seeking a 3rd Party (3P) Data Management resource with strong expertise in migrating data assets from SQL-based environments to Snowflake. The primary focus of this role is executing and validating the migration of tables and databases while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance optimization post-migration. This resource will also serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT partners for data-related initiatives.

Top 3 Required Skills (In Order of Importance)

1. Snowflake – 5+ years

   • Hands-on experience building, optimizing, and validating data assets

   • Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and performance tuning

2. SQL – 5+ years

   • Advanced data manipulation and query development

   • Experience working with relational databases and large datasets

3. AI Tools (Preferred) – 2+ years

   • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency

   • Ability to train or mentor business teams on AI-enabled workflows

Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration of data assets (tables and databases) from SQL environments to Snowflake

• Validate and ensure data integrity post-migration

• Optimize queries and performance within Snowflake

• Partner with IT teams to coordinate technical implementation

• Act as liaison for business teams on data-related efforts

• (Preferred) Introduce AI tools and train business users to improve efficiency

• Experience supporting AI adoption within business teams
