Job Title: Global Business Support Analyst  
Contract Length: 6+ Months
Location: Chicago, IL 60606
PR: 28.99/HR (Set Rate) 

Will join the Global Business Support team within Shareholder Services. This role supports business-critical systems, vendor platforms, and operational workflows that enable shareholder servicing and product distribution.

The position requires strong operational discipline, system troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to manage change initiatives in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support (Approx. 75%)

  • Support Shareholder Services teams, vendors, and clients with system access and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve vendor and internal system issues impacting operations or client interactions.
  • Manage client FTP setup, testing, maintenance, and transmission issue resolution.
  • Coordinate vendor user access across multiple applications and banking portals.
  • Resolve vendor application login and permission issues.
  • Coordinate vendor hardware and system upgrades.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to system disruptions and reporting workflows.
  • Participate in after-hours testing as required.

Project & Process Management (Approx. 25%)

  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives across the full project lifecycle:
    • Scoping and requirements gathering
    • Business requirements documentation
    • Process design and enhancement
    • Testing (including UAT)
    • Data analysis
  • Identify system enhancement opportunities to improve operational resilience.
  • Lead ad hoc operational and system-related projects within Shareholder Services.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1–3 years of financial services or operational support experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong risk and control mindset.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Asset management or investment management experience.
  • Experience supporting vendor platforms or financial systems.
  • Familiarity with business process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Project management exposure.
