The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability to business partners and key stakeholders for all aspects of project delivery. This role leads medium to large projects or small programs (typically $2M–$4M) that support business unit or corporate objectives.
The ideal candidate brings expert-level project and advanced program management experience, thrives in complex environments, and drives cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple IT and business areas.
Serve as the primary point of accountability for end-to-end project delivery
Lead project planning, execution, implementation, readiness, and reporting
Manage medium to large projects or small programs with varying scope and high complexity
Oversee initiatives with non-contained risk supporting business and corporate goals
Drive cross-functional efforts spanning multiple IT and business units
Monitor project tasks, milestones, budgets, risks, and controls
Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget
Produce high-quality deliverables, executive communications, and stakeholder presentations
Apply and promote organizational delivery methodologies, standards, and tools
Operate independently with minimal oversight while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment
7+ years of project management experience
Experience managing $2M–$4M project budgets
Proven track record leading medium to large, complex cross-functional initiatives
Strong risk management and governance experience
Advanced stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience working across both IT and business teams
Deep understanding of structured delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
Financial services or insurance industry experience
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience contributing to or improving enterprise delivery frameworks
