Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer to join our team, focusing on enhancing and maintaining our critical asset integration and reporting systems. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong foundation in data management, process automation, and business intelligence, who can drive efficiency and accuracy in our reporting processes. 

Key Responsibilities

• System Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain robust solutions for asset integration and reporting using required technologies.
• Database Management: Create and manage complex SQL queries and stored procedures within an Oracle database environment.
• Automation: Utilize VBA to automate legacy processes and integrate various data sources efficiently.
• Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain reports using Business Objects to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• SQL: Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Oracle: Strong experience with Oracle database environments.
• VBA: Proven track record of developing automation solutions.
• Business Objects: Expertise in report design and development.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences. 

Reporting Tools – Experience with QlikView or Power BI

• Programming Languages:  Java is a plus. 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
