Data Engineer

W2 Contract-to-Hire

Role Summary

This role would sit within the Digital Transformation team and focus on ensuring the operational integrity, performance, and scalability of data and digital products. It will bridge the gap between core data engineering, platform operations, and business support, ensuring that production workflows run smoothly and issues are addressed proactively along with deploying new enhancements to the Data/Digital platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring the performance and reliability of the digital products and data pipelines running on the Data & Digital platform.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Deploying new changes and enhancements after post go-live (includes data and application features)
• Ensure data timeliness, completeness, and accuracy in production, working closely with the “Data Engineering and SW Quality” team
• Establish operational SLAs and Azure cost management operations
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting
• Respond and resolve production incidents related to data and digital applications
• Platform support & maintenance
• Work closely with platform support and delivery teams to align releases and updates
• Partner with governance teams to enforce data quality and compliance standards
