This role manages project scoping, design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of renewable energy assets exceeding 1 MW in capacity.
You’ll collaborate across engineering, permitting, procurement, and community engagement teams to drive projects forward, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, stakeholder expectations, and company objectives.
Lead BESS and renewable energy projects through all stages of development — early, mid, and late phase.
Manage multidisciplinary teams handling project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
Oversee cost control, procurement, bid evaluations, and vendor management.
Identify and secure new renewable project opportunities, including lease and easement negotiations.
Ensure compliance with MISO interconnection, permitting, and environmental regulations.

Support community engagement and public outreach efforts in partnership with external affairs.
Participate in industry groups and monitor market trends impacting renewable development.
Contribute to M&A and business development proposals within the renewables portfolio.
7+ years of experience managing renewable energy or utility-scale construction projects.
Proven success with BESS, solar, or wind project development from concept to NTP.
Strong understanding of engineering design, permitting, procurement, and scheduling.
Experience with MISO interconnection processes and regulatory compliance.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with project budgeting and vendor oversight.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Environmental Science, or related field
