About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Group Services Specialist to join our team onsite in Alexandria, LA. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to provide exceptional service to our existing group clients. Your focus will be on maintaining strong client relationships, supporting enrollments and renewals, and ensuring the highest level of group account retention.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist Account Managers and Executives in servicing, retaining, and upgrading group business through personal contact with group leaders, brokers, and consultants.

· Provide support to group members, answering benefit questions and addressing claims or service issues.

· Conduct on-site and virtual benefits presentations and training for employees and brokers to promote adoption of electronic tools and plan features.

· Support the group enrollment and renewal processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely execution.

· Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Underwriting, and Provider Contracting to resolve member inquiries.

· Maintain updated and accurate records of all client communications, meetings, and documents in corporate tracking systems.

· Handle payments from members, posting to eBilling or forwarding to Accounts Receivable as needed.

· Participate in home office visits for prospective or renewing groups, assisting in scheduling and developing presentations.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, sales support, or benefits operations.

· Working knowledge of health insurance operations is required.

· Louisiana Life & Health Insurance license preferred (or willingness to obtain).

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to travel occasionally within Louisiana.
