Senior Lead Project Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX/ Charlotte, NC/St. Louis, MO (3 days a week in the office)

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Range: $65-$75 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives within a global operations environment. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can partner with senior executives to deliver high-impact change programs, enhance operational performance, and ensure compliance with enterprise change-management frameworks.

You will drive programs that span multiple business lines, influencing decisions that shape the organization’s long-term operational strategy. The ideal candidate combines deep project-management expertise with strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee cross-functional programs that drive operational transformation and process excellence.

  • Develop detailed execution plans, define milestones, and ensure successful delivery against enterprise objectives.

  • Partner with leaders in operations, technology, risk, and finance to align strategy, resources, and outcomes.

  • Identify and mitigate program risks while maintaining compliance with enterprise change-management standards.

  • Provide strategic advisory support to executive stakeholders, influencing direction and decision-making across multiple business areas.

  • Deliver clear and concise status reporting, risk assessments, and financial tracking to senior leadership.

  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability across diverse global teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project or program management experience, ideally within a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Proven success leading enterprise-level transformation or change-management initiatives.

  • Strong background in strategic planning, execution, and risk mitigation.

  • Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.

  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders, departments, and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in financial services, consulting, or corporate operations.

  • Expertise in Enterprise Change Management (ECM) methodologies or similar frameworks.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, or other project-tracking tools.

  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Prosci certification a plus.

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This position suits a strategic program leader with a consultative mindset — someone who can bridge the gap between vision and execution while guiding senior leaders through complex organizational change.
