Title: Middleware Administrator (WebSphere MQ / RabbitMQ)

Location: Riverwoods, IL, 60015 (Hybrid)
Duration: 4 Month Contract
Pay: $55-60/hr W2 ONLY, NO C2C

Job Description:
We are seeking an Middleware Administrator (WebSphere MQ / RabbitMQ) with expertise in message queuing technologies and automation to support our enterprise integration platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining WebSphere MQ and RabbitMQ environments across production and non-production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer WebsphereMQ, RabbitMQ environments in production and nonproduction environments
• Knowledge of websphereMQ and channel setup with mainframe is expected
• Author/Support Ansible scripting for automation and changes/upgrades of system software
• Linux hands-on knowledge at command prompt is expected for the role
• Security and SSL/PKI knowledge is a must
• Participate in daily sprint activities and support pager every 2 weeks
• Work with application first-level teams for troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Consult with Architecture for optimal solutions

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ and/or RabbitMQ administration.
• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Chef automation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of PKI and certificate management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
