Required Qualifications:

• Automated Discovery & Integration: Ability to configure and troubleshoot MID servers, SCCM, JAMF, and AWS Service Graph Connectors.
  
• Data Quality & Governance: Experience in remediating CI gaps, enforcing asset class ownership, and executing audits and certifications.
  
• Proficient in Mapping Methodologies: Pattern-Based Mapping for on-prem and virtual environments using predefined logic. Tag-Based Mapping for cloud-native and containerized environments using metadata tags. Manual Mapping for non-discoverable assets like mainframes and blackbox vendor equipment.
  
• Service Mapping Lifecycle Execution: Ability to perform all four phases: data gathering, map construction, validation, and operationalization.
  
• ServiceNow Expertise: Deep experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, IRE, and Service Mapping modules.

Desired Qualifications:

• Cloud Architecture Familiarity: -Understanding of hybrid environments and how services span across on-premise, cloud-native, and containerized platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
• Data Quality & Stewardship: Knowledge of CI tagging standards, stale CI remediation, and certification workflows to maintain service map integrity.
  
• Stakeholder Engagement: Experience supporting organizational dependency mapping efforts and collaborating with application owners, SMEs, and CI Class Owners across domains.
  
• Tag-Based Mapping Expertise: Experience using metadata tags for mapping cloud services and virtualized infrastructure, especially in environments with limited traditional discovery.

Responsibilities:

• Execute End-to-End Service Mapping Lifecycle: Perform all phases of Service Mapping—data gathering, map construction, validation, and operationalization—for scoped applications and infrastructure.
  
• Build and Maintain Accurate Service Maps: Create and maintain service maps in ServiceNow for critical business applications, including Payment Network/PULSE systems, ensuring complete dependency visibility.
  
• Support Network Layer Mapping: Collaborate with network engineering teams to map network dependencies and entry points for business services.
  
• Perform Manual Mapping for Non-Discoverable Assets: Execute manual mapping for legacy systems and restricted environments (e.g., mainframes, Oracle databases, BlackBox appliances) where automated discovery is not feasible.
  
• Validate CI Relationships and Dependencies: Work with application owners, infrastructure SMEs, and CI Class Owners to confirm service map accuracy and completeness.
  
• Remediate Mapping Gaps: Identify and resolve gaps in application-to-CI relationships, ensuring alignment with CMDB lifecycle and regulatory dependency visibility requirements.
  
• Maintain Mapping Documentation and Audit Readiness: Document mapping processes, dependencies, and validation outcomes to support internal governance and external audit requirements.
