Job Title: Enterprise Solutions Architect
Location: Detroit, MI- 50% Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and versatile Enterprise Solutions Architect with a broad technical background to lead solution design, team modeling, and post-sale delivery oversight. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both pre-sales and operational environments, and who can translate complex client requirements into scalable, cost-effective solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping proposals, estimating delivery models, and driving continuous improvement and automation strategies across engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

• Develop high-level and detailed technical architectures for client proposals and RFP responses
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or new technologies

Proposal & RFP Support

• Lead the technical response for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals
• Collaborate with sales, bid, and delivery teams to shape winning solution strategies
• Estimate team sizes, skill sets, and delivery timelines based on scope and complexity

Team Modeling & Resource Planning

• Define optimal team structures for proposed solutions, including onshore/offshore models
• Align staffing plans with solution requirements in partnership with HR and delivery leads
• Provide input on role definitions, hiring needs, and onboarding strategies

Post-Sale Operational Oversight

• Oversee solution implementation and ensure alignment with proposed architecture
• Monitor delivery progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards
• Serve as a point of escalation for technical and operational concerns
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and continuous improvement

Continuous Improvement & Automation

• Develop and propose methodologies for delivering continuous improvement across client environments
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deploy automation frameworks
• Use performance metrics and data insights to refine processes and solutions

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as a technical liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendor partners
• Present solution concepts to clients and internal leadership
• Incorporate client feedback into iterative solution development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or IT delivery
• Proven experience supporting RFPs and proposal development
• Broad technical background across infrastructure, cloud, application development, and security
• Ability to model team sizes and delivery approaches based on scope and budget

Preferred Skills

• Experience with proposal tools and frameworks (e.g., MS Word, SharePoint, RFPIO)
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and hybrid delivery models
• Experience implementing automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work across multiple industries and solution types
