Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SCCM Enterprise Analyst to support and optimize our enterprise desktop environment. This role focuses on vulnerability remediation, application lifecycle management, and automation using Microsoft SCCM, ensuring enterprise desktops remain secure, compliant, and efficient. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving and project management skills, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to implement solutions without disrupting critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remediate OS, framework (e.g., .NET), and desktop application vulnerabilities across enterprise desktops.
- Build, package, and deploy applications and patches using Microsoft SCCM.
- Automate remediation processes and desktop management tasks via PowerShell scripting.
- Catalog all desktop applications, ensure compliance with procurement and risk assessment processes, and consolidate duplicate or redundant applications.
- Implement and manage a structured application request and approval process via ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from remediation or deployment activities, providing Tier 3+ desktop support.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure critical functions are not interrupted during remediation or application changes.
- Lead or contribute to projects aimed at improving desktop security, reducing application complexity, and enforcing IT policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of technical experience in enterprise desktop support or related IT operations.
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft SCCM, including packaging, deployment, and remediation.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability remediation for operating systems and desktop applications.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Experience providing Tier 3 enterprise desktop support.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to implement changes safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
- Familiarity with Windows 10+ and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Knowledge of IT compliance frameworks and application lifecycle management.
- Prior experience in desktop consolidation, process improvement, or IT automation projects.
