Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an Application Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!

Application Developer (React, Python)
Detroit, MI (Hybrid/1 day per week onsite)
6+ Months W2 Contract role

Engagement Description
Work closely with data science, client, and team members on small to large, complex projects to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis, design, and development of web/UI application. Provide support in the full systems life cycle for multiple applications to ensure application software is delivered on time. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Three (3) years of advanced programming techniques and application design required. Experience in systems design and have a solid understanding of development, database development, testing, and integration methodologies required.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience with front-end libraries like React JS, SASS, Boot Strap, jQuery, Angular
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Python based web frame works like Flask and Django
• Intermediate SQL capabilities

Required Skills/Experience

• Hands on experience with Containerization
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Knowledge of Spark preferred.

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
