Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Software Engineer, a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C

Job Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Technical Skills ranking:

1. Core Java + JUnit Testing
2. Experience code reviewing/coaching/mentoring junior engineers
3. React and Micro frontend development
4. Microservices development
5. Automation/ BDD testing

 Additional Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Core Java and Spring experience
• 3+ years of RESTful or GraphQL web services and knowledge of Microservices

Desired Qualifications:

• BA/BS/BE degree or higher in Information Technology, computer science, or Engineering
• 4+ years of Agile experience
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with Microservices
• 5+ years' experience with SDLC tools and processes, including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Harness
• Use of BDD and automation testing, including Selenium, HyperExecute, Octane
• Use of performance Engineering tools like Blazemeter or JMeter
• 5+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
• 3+ years of Mongo DB experience
• 1+ year Azure-Kubernetes, Docker or similar cloud experience
• 1+ year React or modern UI frameworks
• 4+ years of experience in developing JUnit test cases
• 2+ years of Single Page Application (SPA) with micro frontend experience
• Expertise in designing and developing cloud-native applications

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
