Job title: Registered Nurse – Commercial Inpatient
Location: Remote for Michigan residents 
Duration: 12+ months 
Rate: 38-40/HR

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support Commercial Inpatient Utilization Review. This role focuses on reviewing acute care admissions, applying clinical expertise, and ensuring appropriate utilization of medical services.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience –
• 2-4 years acute care experience with an unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• ICU/ER preferred *should not just be 2 years in a specialized field such as NICU/OB/BH/Substance Abuse*
• InterQual/MCG or other utilization review experience preferred

Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
• Advanced computer skills
• 40+ WPM typing
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills

Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
• Utilization Review experience at a previous insurance company (precertification of medical and surgical admissions)
• Utilization Review experience in a post-acute inpatient care settings for example, Skilled Nursing, Inpatient Rehabilitation or Long-Term Acute care facility

Education/Certifications – Include:
• Must be a RN with an unrestricted Registered Nurse license
