Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Job Title: Senior Project Manager  
Location: Minneapolis, MN, 

Key Skill:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in physical data center infrastructure.
• RCDD or equivalent certification. 
• Electrical engineering with a focus on telecommunication would also be acceptable.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to support capital planning efforts related to data center infrastructure. This role is focused on physical infrastructure and road mapping for a major data center relocation initiative, estimated at $20–$50 million. The PM will work closely with engineers, architects, and leadership to translate technical plans into actionable strategies and documentation.

Responsible for managing complex and high risks projects. Oversees project budgets and schedules. Manage day-to-day aspects of project scope. Minimizes project risk. Creates and manages project work plans and work breakdown structures.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and documentation for data center infrastructure upgrades and relocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret technical requirements.
• Translate complex engineering concepts into executive-level summaries.
• Support roadmap development for future server and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure alignment with NEC and NFPA standards, especially grounding and bonding.

Required Qualifications:

• RCDD Certification (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) – Mandatory
• Minimum 10 years of experience in physical data center infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills; ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience with large-scale, complex data center builds or environments.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have:

• DCDC Certification (Data Center Design Consultant – BICSI)
• Leadership experience or history of managing large teams/projects.
• Background in telecom/electrical engineering or vendor-side data center design.
• Familiarity with NEC Chapter 200 (grounding and bonding).

 Additional Notes:

• This is a contractor role, not eligible for conversion to FTE.
• No overtime or weekend work expected.
• Candidates must be based in Minnesota and able to commute to the office on designated days.
