Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Power Apps Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!

Title: Power Apps Developer
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid/onsite Tue, Wed, Thu)
Duration: 12+ Months with extension
Role Type: W2 contract role

Role Overview

Designing, developing, and maintaining low-code/no-code business applications using Microsoft's Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse) to streamline workflows and automate processes. Key responsibilities include gathering business requirements, creating user-friendly and functional applications, integrating data from various sources like SharePoint or Azure, and collaborating with stakeholders. Essential skills often include knowledge of the Power Platform, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and database concepts, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Build and customize Canvas and Model-driven apps using the Power Apps platform.
• Develop Power Automate flows to automate and optimize operational workflows.
• Connect apps and processes to data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, or external APIs.
• Work with business users, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve application issues, and continuously optimize performance.
• Keep abreast of the latest Power Platform features, roadmap updates, and best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and potentially DAX.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and other cloud services.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical skills.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
