Job Title: Software Engineer

Location:  Charlotte, NC ** On-Site (with potential to convert to FTE)
Duration: 24+ Months
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement

Job Description: 

In this role, person will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Operationally support for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsx
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of experience with Python or Unix/Shell scripting or Spark
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• 3+ years of experience with GCP setup and experience with migration from on Prem to GCP
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Hadoop technologies

Desired Qualifications:

• Data analytics capabilities and mindset at scale.
• Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations, including management
• Strong team or technical leadership experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsOnsite Requirement:

• Be available onsite for collaboration and hands-on work.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, demonstrated via:
• Professional work or consulting experience
• Relevant technical training or certifications
• Military background
