Job Overview:

Join a strategically designed Data & Analytics Rotational Program that offers military veterans the opportunity to build a rewarding career in data governance, engineering, and business intelligence. This role provides exposure to diverse projects and technologies, fostering skill development across the full data lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute impactful assignments in data governance, engineering, and business intelligence, ensuring data quality and delivering actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure using modern technologies and best practices.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy and efficiency.

  • Develop insightful visualizations using Tableau and Power BI, following best practices and aligning with enterprise branding standards.

  • Participate in structured career development, including mentoring, coaching, and hands-on training to advance within data and analytics domain.

  • Adhere to risk and compliance standards, ensuring all activities are performed within regulatory and operational guidelines.


Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR

  • 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Experience:

  • Honorably discharged or currently serving military veteran (reserve or national guard included)

  • One of the following:

    • 4+ years in data & analytics, information management, data engineering, or software development implementing data solutions

    • 8+ years of military experience in data collection, organization, and reporting

    • Advanced Degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field + 2 years in predictive analytics or data analysis


Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of data management practices and related tools

  • Experience using SQL, Excel, and platforms such as Snowflake, Hadoop, Netezza, NoSQL, Business Objects

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to visualize data effectively and convey insights to both technical and business audiences

  • Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-building across all organizational levels


Preferred Tools & Technologies:

  • Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI

  • Data Engineering: SQL, Snowflake, Hadoop

  • Business Intelligence: Business Objects, Netezza
