Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location:  Des Moines, IA ** On-Site 5 Days
Duration: 9+ Months
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement

Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer and lead the charge in tackling complex, large-scale software engineering challenges. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving initiatives with broad impacts across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on Major Initiatives: Collaborate on large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs.
• Analyze Complex Challenges: Dive deep into multi-faceted problems, evaluating multiple factors to find innovative solutions.
• Problem Resolution: Develop strategies to resolve intricate software engineering issues while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with client personnel to foster strong relationships and ensure project success.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in Software Engineering, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, or military experience.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java/JavaScript

• Familiarity with XML/SOAP/REST and Tomcat 10

• Experience with Unix/Linux O/S

• Knowledge of JAXB and Oracle

• Skills in automated testing and backend service development

• Experience with Open Shift cloud and Agile Scrum methodologies
