Project Coordinator - Utilities
MUST BE BILINGUAL AND FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE IN FLORIDA AND BE ABLE TO DRIVE IN STATE OF FLORIDA
Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite/Hybrid – as required)
Pay: $35/hr W2
Duration: 6 Months
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Outreach Coordinator to support the execution and performance of the SPP (Storm Protection Plan) Customer Outreach Program. This role will focus on coordinating customer communications, tracking outreach milestones, managing inbound feedback, and supporting public engagement events.
This is a temporary assignment while full-time team members are on extended leave.
Monitor and manage the SPP Inbox to screen and respond to customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints
Maintain databases for:
Project milestone communication schedules
All customer outreach efforts, including complaints and inquiry resolution statuses
Coordinate mailings (postcards, letters) and digital communications with the internal print shop
Track execution of communications protocols by milestone/project
Support organization and scheduling of in-person meetings with stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure consistent and timely outreach
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Professional demeanor and ability to positively influence and work with others
Experience with electric utility systems and customer communication strategies
Experience in customer engagement or public-facing programs
Public speaking experience
Spanish language proficiency
