Job Title: Senior Data Management Consultant 

Location: Charlotte, NC (On-Site)
Duration: 3 Month Contract
Pay Rate:  $75/hr, W2 ONLY

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Data Management Consultant to support high-impact data governance, strategy, and oversight initiatives. This role is part of a contingent workforce and will play a key role in driving cross-functional data management solutions across complex technical and business environments. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert on data standards, quality, flow, documentation, and remediation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a consultant on complex data management initiatives with enterprise-wide impact

• Provide expert guidance on data standards, policies, frameworks, and best practices

• Collaborate with data product, data integrity, business, and technology partners

• Drive solutions that address complex and unique data challenges with creativity and innovation

• Develop long-term strategies for data governance and compliance

• Analyze and evaluate cross-functional issues and propose scalable and sustainable solutions

• Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate data strategy, risks, and solutions

• Support large-scale programs focused on improving data quality, lineage, and access

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management

• Demonstrated expertise in driving data governance, quality, and compliance programs

• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to lead initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and technical domains

• Experience developing data frameworks, policies, and oversight models

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries

• Knowledge of enterprise data tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alteryx, Power BI)

• Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and data remediation practices

• Understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, or internal audit functions

• PMP, CBIP, or related data governance/data management certifications
