Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support infrastructure projects within the utility sector. This role will primarily focus on transmission and distribution projects with an emphasis on road relocations, renewable energy integration, and substation work. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in utility construction, design, or engineering—particularly within the electric "wires" side of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage utility infrastructure projects from concept through execution and close-out
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely project delivery
• Oversee planning, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, and construction activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering best practices, and regulatory requirements
• Track and report project progress, proactively addressing risks and issues

Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years of experience in utility infrastructure project management (transmission, distribution, or related construction/design)
• Strong understanding of electric utility operations, especially on the wires side
• Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

• Experience with road relocation, renewables, or substation projects
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• PMP certification or similar is a plus

Ideal Candidate:

• Comes from the utility, power, or energy sector
• Comfortable navigating field, design, and construction environments
• Able to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex capital projects under budget and on schedule
