Job Title: SWIFT Project Manager

Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Pay:  $70/hr W2 ONLY
Durations:  6 Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SWIFT Project Manager with strong experience in project and program management, ideally within the financial services or payments domain. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with SWIFT applications and messaging standards, along with demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, especially those involving SWIFT standards updates and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end SWIFT-related projects, including standards updates, new implementations, and enhancements

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., Swift Messaging Hub, SWIFT Alliance Access, Volante VolPay)

• Oversee project lifecycle activities including planning, requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support

• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables while managing project risks and dependencies

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze impacts, prioritize tasks, and drive decision-making

• Maintain documentation and reporting using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite

• Support application testing and validation activities tied to SWIFT messaging and integration workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong project management experience with proven success in delivering complex programs

• Experience working with SWIFT technologies and standards (e.g., SWIFT MT, SWIFT wires, SWIFTNet Gateway)

• Familiarity with annual SWIFT Standards updates and deployment cycles

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), JIRA, Confluence, and other project tracking tools

• Background in analysis, evaluation, and solving complex problems

• Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Product lifecycle management exposure
