Job Title: Java Full Stack Engineer (with Test Automation)

Location:  Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 Days onsite)
Pay:  $42/hr W2 ONLY, NO C2C
Duration:  6 Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer with 2+ years of software engineering experience and a strong background in test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java development and will be proficient in using automation frameworks such as Playwright, Karate, and Cucumber to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full stack Java applications

• Build and execute automated tests using Playwright, Karate, and Cucumber

• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure code quality and coverage

• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues

• Contribute to improving testing practices, frameworks, and team standards

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Proficient in Java full stack development

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools: Playwright, Karate, and Cucumber

• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
