Job Title: Junior Banker Assistant
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Full-Time Contract


Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Junior Banking Assistant to provide support across multiple teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings using Microsoft Outlook, ensuring optimal time management.

  • Prepare and edit documents using Microsoft Word and Excel with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Monitor and respond to emails, manage communication flow, and follow up on action items.

  • Coordinate and support virtual and in-person meetings, including preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes.

  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, file management, and team coordination.

  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams, adapting to shifting priorities and timelines.

  • Maintain professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Take initiative to solve scheduling or administrative issues independently and efficiently.

  • Represent the team with a professional and approachable demeanor.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across email, phone, and Zoom.

  • Comfortable working with team members and leaders at all organizational levels.

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

  • Flexible and adaptable, capable of supporting multiple teams in a dynamic setting.

  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented with a positive, "can-do" attitude.

  • 0–1 years of professional experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer service role.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in an administrative or office setting.

  • Exposure to Zoom, Teams, or other virtual collaboration platforms.
