Job Title: Capital Markets Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 days on-site)
Pay:  $55/hr W2 ONLY - NO C2C
Contract Duration:  12 Months

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5–10 years of proven experience delivering projects in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in project management best practices, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder communication. This role requires a strong command of documentation, project tracking, and presentation tools, as well as the ability to lead initiatives through all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage Capital Markets projects with a focus on risk and issue tracking using RAID logs.

• Develop, maintain, and track project plans, including deliverables, milestones, tasks, and sub-tasks.

• Coordinate across multiple teams to gather data, prepare documentation, and ensure timely delivery of project artifacts.

• Facilitate meetings, document minutes and key business decisions (KBDs), and follow up on action items.

• Create clear and concise status reports for project stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Organize and manage project artifacts using SharePoint or other collaboration tools.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure project alignment and resolve issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of Project Management experience, preferably in Capital Markets or Financial Services.

• Demonstrated experience in RAID log tracking and full lifecycle project management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

• Experience with SharePoint for document and collaboration management.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power BI for dashboard and reporting automation.

• Exposure to regulatory or risk-based capital markets projects.

• PMP or other relevant project management certification.
