Job Title: IAM Security Analyst
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Employment Type: [Full-Time / Contract]
Experience Level: Mid to Senior
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IAM Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and advancing identity and access management solutions and strategies that ensure secure, compliant access to enterprise systems and data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in IAM technologies, policy automation, and cloud security platforms, and be well-versed in security best practices across the financial services industry.
Lead and support IAM initiatives across enterprise systems with a strong focus on automation, compliance, and security
Manage identity lifecycle processes including provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, and authorization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define access policies and enforce access controls in hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Evaluate and implement IAM technologies such as Okta, Azure Entra, IGA, MFA, PAM
Utilize Policy-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Chef, Puppet, Ansible) to enforce security and compliance standards
Contribute to AI/ML-driven IAM automation and risk detection solutions
Stay current on emerging trends in identity technologies, including decentralized identity, blockchain-based identity, and passwordless authentication
Ensure alignment with industry regulations and internal policies, mitigating risks related to access management
Conduct regular audits, reporting, and remediation of access violations
Participate in the development and enforcement of IAM governance and standards
5+ years of Information Security Analysis or related experience
4+ years of direct experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Expertise with IAM platforms and tools: Okta, Azure Entra, PAM, IGA, MFA
Experience with cloud IAM technologies (Azure, GCP, etc.)
Strong understanding of IAM standards, frameworks, and best practices
Experience in security control implementation and risk management
Solid understanding of financial services industry compliance requirements
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Experience with AI/ML-based policy automation in IAM
Familiarity with decentralized identity and passwordless authentication solutions
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or CISM
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
