Job Title: Operations Settlements Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX 75201
Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Settlements Team is seeking a Contingent Analyst to support the accurate and timely settlement of Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) trades. The analyst will play a key role in monitoring trade settlements, minimizing exceptions, and ensuring compliance with client asset segregation and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage trade settlements efficiently while optimizing funding requirements and minimizing operational costs. The analyst will also contribute to documenting process flows, creating operational manuals, and sharing knowledge with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely trade settlements with minimal exceptions.

  • Monitor incoming receipts and manage inventory to reduce fail rates.

  • Maintain compliance with client asset segregation and settlement regulations.

  • Assess funding requirements and optimize inventory management to minimize costs.

  • Document process flows and create operational manuals for key functions.

  • Research and troubleshoot trade settlement issues, escalating unresolved matters to senior management.

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in daily operations.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the financial services industry and firm operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in trade settlements, operations, or financial services.

  • Knowledge of FICC products and related settlement processes.

  • Ability to document processes clearly and train new team members.
