Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Financial Analyst for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Job Title: Financial Analyst (Loans, Securitiesand Derivatives)

Role Type: W2 only

Duration:12 months

Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Hybrid

Key kills:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Macros, V-Lookups, etc)

Summary:

This contractor will be supporting the Derivative Collateral Management team. Senior team members will be moving to an optimization effort while newer team members take over day to day tasks. This contractor may be pulled in to support ad-hoc tasks as needed depending on skill set.

 In this role, you will:

 In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Business Execution. Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Business Execution. Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Business Execution

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Macros, V-Lookups, etc)

NICE TO HAVE
- FINRA Series 7 license - DOES NOT NEED TO BE ACTIVE
- Familiarity with tableau - (team will build reporting off data)
- Knowledge of FX products, collateral, fixed income products, swaps experience, accounting, equity FX background, general ledger, client facing experience etc.
- Knowledge of and possess ability to interpret executed International Swaps and Derivatives Association
- Master Agreements (ISDA) and Credit Support Annex (CSA), MSFTA and GMRA documents

SOFT SKILLS
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter and aggressive work ethic with self-discipline follow up skills

EXPERIENCE
• 1 year of capital markets industry or similar experience

 Required Qualifications: 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
