Unclaimed Property Analyst
McLean, VA (with potential for Dallas or SLC)
W2 Rate - $27-32/hr – 100% onsite position
Potential for Conversion
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant property experience, particularly in abandoned property and escheatment processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree, and at least 4 years of professional experience
- Skills:
- Experience with abandoned property management, including handling legal processes and compliance.
- Knowledge of escheatment laws and the process for turning over unclaimed property to the state.
- Strong understanding of GBM Operations (Global Banking and Markets), particularly as it pertains to abandoned property and escheatment.
- Location Flexibility: Preference for candidates in McLean but open to Dallas or Salt Lake City locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and processing abandoned property cases in compliance with local and state laws.
- Assisting with escheatment procedures, ensuring that unclaimed property is accurately identified and turned over to the appropriate authorities.
- Working closely with the legal and operations teams to resolve outstanding property issues.
- Ensuring proper documentation and reporting for all abandoned property and escheatment activities.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and records related to property and escheatment activities.
