Job Title: Software Engineer

Role Type: W2 only

Location: PHOENIX, AZ

Schedule: Hybrid

Summary:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software
• Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software engineering deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Technical Skills:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience developing scalable Java-based applications.
• 4+ years of experience developing or consuming REST based web services.
• 2+ years working with databases, SQL or Non-SQL
• Experience working on Scrum teams; familiarity with the CICD tools.
• Hand-on experience with Apache Kafka, Mongo DB, APIGEE gateway, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: distributed and client server technologies
• Experience with cloud-based computing
• Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
• Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
• Experience with major database engines including Oracle, SQL Server and DB2
• Knowledge and understanding of design and development of modern web applications and mobile technologies
• Experience building microservices based on event driven architecture and domain driven design
