Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Location: Remote
Pay:  $55-60/hr - W2 Only
Duration: 3-4 months

Job Description:

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to support cybersecurity initiatives for approximately 3-4 months. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network solutions while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Must-Have Skills:

• AWS Networking
• Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS)
• Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Ansible
• Python
• Terraform

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security solutions in alignment with cybersecurity strategies.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure security technologies meet corporate risk and compliance standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert for security technologies and provide guidance on escalations.
• Assess current and future-state security models to ensure effective system design.
• Work with internal teams to support project implementation and security integration.
• Maintain relationships with security vendors and stay updated on security trends and threats.
• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and legal security requirements.
