Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Jr. DevOps Engineer for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!
Title: Build and Release/DevOps Engineer (Junior to mid-level)
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid 3 days in office)
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Type: W2 contract engagement
Overview:
Part of Customer Relationship and Billing department as a Software Engineer and tasks include includes the functions of build, deploy, automation test control, generating reports and notification services with an end goal of continuous integration in a data center and Cloud with Customer Satisfaction.
Project Description:
- Replacing current portfolio of customer relationship and billing systems into a single solution using SAP.
- Providing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
- Attending meetings on a weekly basis to gather the requirements of customers to simplify the case, and work with developers to deliver the goal.
- Tools: Must have some hands on working experience with Jenkins, IBM Rational, Active Control, IBM WebSphere, IBM DataPower, IIB, Git. AWS is a must.
- Responsible for the configuration, build, deployment, and continuous integration of application software across numerous application technologies
- Understands multiple application platforms such as J2EE (WAS and WebLogic) and ESB (IBM IIB and Data Power, SAP PO/PI), and SAP.
- Deploys web-based applications using Middleware Apache, MQ Series, WebLogic and WebSphere servers.
