Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a NERC Compliance Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!
Title: NERC Compliance SpecialistLocation: Detroit, MI - Hybrid (3 days in office)Duration: 12+ MonthsRole Type: W2 contract engagementJob Summary: Seeking an experienced NERC CIP Compliance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all NERC CIP regulations and standards.Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to NERC and PCI standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update compliance programs accordingly.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on NERC and PCI compliance requirements.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all NERC and PCI compliance-related inquiries.
Education:- Experience gained through college degree programs and or certifications in engineering, business, technology, or other related fields
- 5-8 years of experience with an understanding in one or more of the following: NERC CIP, ERCOT Protocols, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOX, PCI, NACHA, NRC.
- 1-3 years of relevant NERC CIP experience
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills
- Experience with Security or Compliance best practices
- Experience with ICS devices, Generation or Transmission assets is preferred
- Professional certification a plus (e.g., PPM, CISM, CISA, CISSP, PE)
Good to have:- 5+ years of experience in NERC CIP compliance.
