Job Description:
As an Infrastructure Engineer 4, you will consult on complex initiatives with a broad impact and lead large-scale planning efforts for Infrastructure Engineering. This role involves reviewing and analyzing intricate, multi-faceted engineering challenges, contributing to the resolution of unprecedented or intangible problems, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while meeting deliverables. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps methodologies, secure development practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approaches. This role requires strategic collaboration with clients and a strong technical foundation in automation tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
- Provide expert guidance and consultation in creating Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Lead the implementation of secure and scalable DevOps practices to support cloud deployments and automation.
- Secure Development Lifecycle:
- Ensure the secure coding of applications following industry standards.
- Promote best practices in software development lifecycles.
- Toolchain Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation pipelines leveraging tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).
- Ensure seamless integration of DevOps and automation solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Data Analytics and Visualization:
- Utilize data analytics tools such as Grafana, PowerBI, Elasticsearch, Tableau, Splunk, and Google Cloud Logging to monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance infrastructure performance.
- Collaboration and Consultation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to meet evolving technology infrastructure needs.
- Act as a thought leader in adopting secure coding and infrastructure automation practices.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation:
- Address complex and long-term infrastructure engineering challenges.
- Evaluate new technologies to optimize infrastructure performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions.
- 4+ years in Systems Engineering and Technology Architecture.
- 4+ years in DevOps with hands-on experience in industry-standard tools and practices (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub Actions, UrbanCode Deploy, Harness).
- 3+ years in secure DevOps and cloud deployment automation.
- 1+ year in data analytics tools (e.g., Grafana, Tableau, Splunk, Google Cloud Logging).
- Proficiency in Python and its libraries for automation.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE methodologies.
- Expertise in Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and lifecycle management.
Desired Skills (Optional):
- Experience with GitHub Cloud and its integration with automation pipelines.
- Proficiency in creating robust data visualizations and reports using PowerBI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and tools for deployment automation.
