Job Title: Design Specialist (Contract)

Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay:  $54-60/hr W2 ONLY
Duration: 3+ Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Experience Design Consultant to lead and contribute to complex initiatives with broad organizational impact. This role involves strategic consultation on areas including content design, design programs, design research and strategy, or product design. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical approach to solving multifaceted challenges, ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Consulting: Provide expert consultation on large-scale experience design initiatives, including planning, analysis, and execution.
• Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex, multi-faceted challenges, requiring in-depth evaluation of intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Collaboration: Partner strategically with client personnel to address design needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Compliance: Ensure all design deliverables meet established compliance requirements and organizational policies.
• Innovation: Drive innovation by applying cutting-edge techniques in content design, research, and strategy to enhance user experiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in experience design, content design, design programs, design research and strategy, or product design.
  • Equivalent demonstrated expertise through work, consulting, military experience, education, or training.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
