Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Pharmacy Technician for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Duration: 5 months

W2 contract engagement, No c2c.

Location: Lansing, MI

Schedule: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors’ offices.
• Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone and electronic PA system
• Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit
• Work from home – private and quiet workspace required

 Required Skills/Experience

• Retail Pharmacy experience, at least 2 years
• Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc)
• Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Call center experience
• CMS knowledge

Education/Certifications

• CPhT preferred (Certified Pharmacy Tech licensed)
