Strategic Staffing Solutions has an immediate hybrid contract (4 days on-site and 1 day remote) long term contract in San Antonio for an IT Project Coordinator who has worked on a cloud migration previously. This is for a large financial corporation.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in project coordination of software development projects, particularly in cloud migration projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, manage timelines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise.
• Document project processes, requirements, and changes, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accessible.
• Assist in risk management by identifying potential issues and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Support the onboarding and training of team members on cloud technologies and tools.
• Conduct post-migration reviews to assess project outcomes and capture lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably with a focus on cloud migration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
• Experience with risk assessment and management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master) are a plus.
